September 30 2014It’s that time of year again when the days are long and the weather warm. The quinoa is rapidly ripening in the field and harvest time will soon be upon us, when we will finally know if all of our work over the past six months has been successful. It’s taken us several years to get our harvest technique perfected, but we now know that proper preparation is key. It’s a great feeling seeing the combine finally bringing in the quinoa crop and this year it is even more exciting as we will be packaging a proportion of this year’s harvest into our own brand packaging. We’re still working on our packaging design, but come the end of the year we should have everything ready, so watch this space!
